Dan Molina, Jonathan Niemeyer and Melissa Thomasson named to Bethesda Inc. Board of Trustees.

Cincinnati, OH – July 19, 2016 – Bethesda Inc., a major funder of health care transformation and co-sponsor of TriHealth, announced today that its board has elected new three trustees, according to Jill Miller, president.

The new trustees include Daniel A. Molina, who serves on the Governance Committee; Jonathan D. Niemeyer, who serves on Bethesda Inc.’s Finance and Audit Committee; and Melissa Thomasson, Ph.D., who serves on the Grants Committee.

“We’re honored to have the talents of these three leaders focused on our organization,” Miller said. “Each brings a unique perspective and professional experiences to our board and I’m excited by what they will be able to contribute to our mission.”

About Dan Molina

Dan Molina currently serves as the Local Market Lead for Ohio and Kentucky for Accenture Operations. He started his career with Accenture in 1999 after earning a B.S. in Business Administration and an MBA at the University of Dayton. He is actively involved in the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative, and the Cincinnati Chapter of Prospanica (formerly the National Society of Hispanic MBAs), among others. He also serves on Senator Rob Portman’s Hispanic Leadership Council and was appointed by Governor John Kasich to serve on the Ohio Commission on Hispanic-Latino Affairs.

About Jonathan Niemeyer

Jonathan D. Niemeyer is Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Western & Southern Financial Group. He leads the company’s law department, including compliance and government relations, where he manages legal, compliance and government affairs for the company and its diverse financial services subsidiaries and affiliates. He is also responsible for the finance, actuarial, risk management, tax and treasury functions.

Niemeyer earned a B.A. in Political Science with distinction from the University of Kentucky, and graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law, Order of the Coif, with distinction. He serves many organizations throughout the community, including the Salvation Army of Greater Cincinnati, United Way and Crossroads Church.

About Melissa Thomasson

Melissa Thomasson is the Julian Lange Professor of Economics at Miami University. Her work on the economic history of health insurance and health care has been published in respected professional journals. Thomasson earned her Masters and Ph.D. degrees in economics from the University of Arizona and a B.S. in Economics at the University of Puget Sound. She has served on the editorial boards for two professional journals, and is a former Trustee of the Cliometrics Society.
